  • Introduction to numerical and applied Mathematics with C-programmed examples from the engineering fields of mechanics, fluid engineering, chemistry, thermodynamics and heat transfer
  • Method of numerical integration
  • Fourier analysis
  • Signal analysis and approximation
  • Solving equations with the methods of Gauss, Thomas and Gauss-Seidel
  • Iterative solution algorithms such as CGS, BiCGS and BiCGSTAB
  • Curve fitting on least squares and splines
  • finite differences
  • Boundary value problems
  • Predictor-Corrector and Runge-Kutta-Method
  • Introduction to finite elements, Galerkin method and finite volume method
