- Simulation and calculation of machine elements (e.g. rolling bearings, chain drives, radial shaft seals) in multi-body simulation (with Adams, Simpack, RecurDyn) or FE (with Ansys, Abaqus).
- Experimental investigations of machine elements (e.g. rolling bearings, chain drives, radial shaft seals)
- New and adaptation designs of test benches and fixtures
