Requirements

... the foundation for a Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering and process engineering is the previous acquisition of a Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) degree in mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering with business administration, energy and process engineering or bio and chemical engineering at a German university. The basis of comparison for the evaluation of external Bachelor degrees is the internal Bachelor degree assigned to the corresponding Master degree, as the graphic below shows.

Graduates from foreign universities can be admitted to the master's program if the type and extent of the course of the foreign university corresponds to the bachelor's degree programs of the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering at the TU Kaiserslautern.

If you are interested in a master's degree in the field of mechanical engineering and process engineering, please  find further information on the subject of application and admission on the website for prospective students of the department.

Bachelor students of the TU Kaiserslautern can apply for a change of subject in one of the master's degree programs in the SSC or in the student secretariat. This is also possible before the Bachelor's degree is completed. We would be happy to advise you on this.
