Simon Shi studied mechanical engineering at the TU Kaiserslautern (TUK). He graduated with his Master’s degree on the topic “Simulation of the heat development of reinforced plastics under tribological load considering local effects“
Since March 2020, he is employed as a Research Associate at the Chair of Composite Engineering. His work is focusing on the topic of Environmental Stress Cracking in plastics.
