Miaozi Huang studied mechanical and process engineering at the Technische Universität Kaiserslautern (TUK) and completed his studies in 2016 with his diploma thesis "3D-printing of thermoplastic based nanocomposites".

Since December 2016 he is employed at the Chair of Composite Engineering researching in the area of Additive Manufacturing.
