Praphakorn Saiprasit graduated at The Petroleum and Petrochemical College, Chulalongkorn University (PPC-CU), Thailand in 2014. Her master thesis was on biodegradable multi-layered polymer films. After that, she worked as a chemist in the Research and Development Department at Selic Corp Company Limited, Thailand.

Since October 2015, Ms. Saiprasit is a PhD student at the Chair of Composite Engineering at the Technische Universität Kaiserslautern (TUK), since October 2021 a Research Associate. Her research focuses on Process-Structure-Property relationships of biodegradable polymer-based nanocomposites. In October 2021, she received her doctorate for her work "On the Process-Structure-Property Relationships of Poly(lactic acid)-based Nanocomposites".
